Opportunities to be involved in a number of studies (inclusive but not limited to Paediatric Oncology/Haematology/Rheumatology) as Associate Principal Investigator.

QI project: "Paediatric Virtual Ward" (previously successfully implemented in West Midlands). Aiming at minimising ward occupancy, freeing beds, enhancing patient flow, empowering patients and carers in liaison with medical team)

Looking for: Trainee to develop and implement programme within Cwm Taff Morgannwg LHB (Medical director, Chief Operating Officer, Service and Clinical Director aware)

QI project: Feedback questionnaire for General Paediatrics (ward and outpatients) - to be rolled-out as an all-Wales initiative. Idea would be to have QR code which children/parents could scan. Improvement changes could be made based on what is important to patients.

Looking for: Trainees to take this forward within their local Health Boards. Ideally one trainee based in Cwm Taf who is willing to take the lead.
